"Krementz" mostly on GOLD PLATE Costume Jewelry
by: Anonymous

Hi mama - glad to see someone's paying attention. there are several variations of the Kremetz costume jewelry mark. The full name "Krementz' was mainly used on Costume Jewelry - ca 1884- 1997.

14 K and the K is in fancy script like Ginny's mark, was used by Frank Krementz on GOLD Jewelry & Lorgnettes, in NJ, USA.

FYI Lorgnettes are a pair of spectacles with a handle, rather than fitting over the ears.

Warm Wishes,
Yvonne

Hi Ginny,

I'm local to NPR, FL. The Krementz Jewelry I have located has the name spelled out on it and has the carat mark and the identifier for gold plate.

K Mark + 14K on 14 K gold
by: Anonymous

Hi Ginny thank you for your question. Krementz & Co (later Colibri) used the initial "K" plus "14K" on 14k gold.

Krementz & Co. manufacturing Jewelers, Newark, NJ, USA ca. 1910-1960s.

Best Regards
Yvonne Hammouda-Eyre
