On this page, I'd like to share with you something that runs a little deeper than a return-on-investment....

I feel that every piece of antique jewelry is special and very much, well - alive; I feel it has a sort of spirit. I think this is because it has been loved and cherished in the past and embodies the memories of that love within it.

My graduate degree from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, specialization in philosophy, art history is proving to be invaluable in my dream to eventually build if not the largest, at least the most objective and hopefully the most interesting resource center about estate and fine Antique Jewelry in plain simple English, providing EVERYBODY whose interested, with the tools to learn how to invest in Antique Jewelry for themselves.

My Mum's great, great grandfather was Edward John Eyre who is one of Australia's early explorers and the first European to cross over-land from Adelaide to Western Australia. He actually walked it, and in the process, walked himself into the pages of Australia's history.

He would never have made it though, without his Aboriginal friend and guide, Wilguldy.

This expedition across the Nullabor, is known as the Nullabor Crossing in facts about Australia. They named the Eyre Highway in Australia in his honor.

Eyre wrote the first ever published book about the Australian Aboriginal people, he wrote it respectfully, with sensitivity and admiration.

He also discovered a huge salt lake, in the center of Australia. Lake Eyre is also named in his honor.

Eyre was later appointed lieutenant governor of New Zealand.

I am married to an Alexandrian man, who is one of the finest wire jewelry artists in the world. When he isn't bending wire making jewelry, he bends the steel wire on his guitar strings.

I have three sons - Ben, James and Andrew and there isn't a famous collection on earth, sorry to tell you Elizabeth, that will ever come close to that one........
