Antique Cameo Brooch/Necklace

Hi, I have an antique cameo that's carved out of what looks like a sea shell and set in a rose colored gold. On the back of the cameo, there is a stamp in the gold that says KIL. I was just wondering if you might know who KIL was or what this hallmark stands for?
