platine is the french word for platinum

Typically the french hallmark for platinum is a dogs head. Of course there's a retail value but, the scrap value will be pretty high considering you have platinum

I have a watch with the same stag

I have a watch that has that same logo and platine inscribed. My grandfather found it in a park around 70 years ago. Mine its not in such a great shape as yours. Inside is inscribed 1-29-09. I guess is over 100 years old.
