Antique Pearl Necklace?

Hi - this pastweekend i bought a pearl necklace at a yard sale. The woman didn't know if the pearls were real or not. My gut feeling told me to buy them, they just were different in my eyes. It turned out they were real. I am trying to find out if this is an antique pearl necklace or newer one. Here is a link to the picture of the necklace. Any information would be helpful. I have been told they are egg shell form.
