Black Mourning Pearls

Good evening.
I have a set of black mourning beads or pearls that I inherited when my Aunt passed away. The original string that they were strung on has now broken and I hopefully have all the pearls. My question to you is, should I just leave them the way they are, or should I have them restrung professionally then I can decide if I want to sell them.

It's difficult because they were my Grandmothers and are over 100 yrs old now, and maybe even older.
