brooch

I have had a brooch passed own to me that was bought by my grandmother for my great grandmother whilst she was in service during the first world war making it approximately 100 years old, its not very big just 2 and a half cms in length and breadth, is filigree work with what looks to me like mother of pearl inset , are you able to shed any light on this please
