Can you help me learn more about a bracelet my father gave me the day before he passed away?

I hope you can help me. The day before my father passed away he handed me a bracelet. I took it to Kay Jewelers and they unofficially appraised it at around $3500-$4000. What interested me more is the hallmark on it.

The bracelet was made very well, which I will enclose pictures. We have no information on it. It has marks of what appears to be a lion with a wreath around its shoulder area, holding a torch in the air. It is stamped 10K CAL. There is a mark on the clasp inside and also a raised mark on the other side. I like it because it's different. I would feel better knowing more about this piece before making a decision on what I should do with it.

My dad thought it was a gawdy piece and kind of laughed when handing it to me saying "maybe you can sell it". I am not sure if I will do that. It is too showy for me with all the diamonds. The clasp is broken. It looks bent and with proper tools it can be unbent and the pin would fit right back where it was. I really hope you can help me.

Sincerely, Karen Jenner
