Can you identify this cameo artist?

I was told by the woman that gave this cameo to me that it was made by the artist that created an "arc of the covenant" at a Cathedral in San Francisco.

Little initials at bottom look like a cojoined capital I and D...like ID She said it was given to her as a child and she was 96 in 2013.

Any information would be appreciated.
