I would like to know please what authentic chanel marks look like? I've seen ovals as part of casting, ovals on top, and writing stamped in the metal that forms an oval.

Also the same in round sheilds. most say "made in france" "chanel" "cc logo" and some number. Some have crisp writing some not so clear.

I've also seen rectangles on some pieces with just "chanel" and "chanel" stamped in the metal. The sellers all claim they are authentic, chanel how can i tell? please help.
