Hi thanks for sending in the following hallmark question:

"I am considering buying a gold ring that has this mark: GP31 10K MF. Does the GP31 mean it is gold plated? Thank you for your help, Natalie"

KP means Gold Plumb, this means the gold is guaranteed to be the gold carat stated. GP is a bit ambiguous in this regards. GP on the other hand probably indicates Gold Plate.
