Edwardian Pearl Sautoir

I found, in a huge bag of old pearls, this antique pearl Sautoir!

The amount of research I have done about this piece, to find out if the pearls are real is amazing, but still cannot tell if the pearls are real or faux pearls. They are heavy and cold to the touch.

I tried all the tests, they are gritty on the teeth. There is a slight crack in one of the pearls. I will still keep trying to identify if the pearls are real, as it is a very beautiful piece and I want to find out as much as I can about them.
