I have a couple 1940's Mosell jewelry molds. I bought them at auction because I make jewelry and thought they were cool to display (not to use) and have stored them for years. I found them the other day, and curious if there is a market for them?

Hello, I have a very old piece from my grt grandmother its a metal of some variety and has hinge at one end and stunning artwork overlayed on top and in the center the virgin mary.. inside the very old (Ill call it egg) is inscribed on both inside the 'mosell' .. Marylou, Frederick Mosell began the Frederick Mosell Jewelry Co. NY in 1940 when he migrated to the USA from his home in Paris. His elegant design pieces, were preceded by novelty jewelry pieces. Mosell, is best known for his sophisticated designs, reminiscent of elegant and taseful Egyptian revival. The crescent moon, the subject of your bracelet, conjures up remembrances of Ancient Egyptian Symbology.
Some vintage gold plated necklaces, brooches and earrings of starfish, ferns, and leaves (to name a few) had small to large rhinestones and cabochons in their fine detail work, and were very elegant, and suitable for either wearing with the evening dress or casual outfits.
Jewelry pieces by Mosell are very hard to find, quoted in jewelry guides as "very hot" and collectors are willing to give their eye teeth for a museum quality Mosell Costume Jewelry. Mosell jewelry ceased production in 1980.
