Georgian Ring - Maker's mark identification.

by Sarah
(Boston, MA USA)

Georgian Ring

Georgian Ring

I have an 18th c. ring with a slightly later shank (c. 1820). The ring is most likely English, but could possible be French. I'm trying to find out the name of the goldsmith associated with the hallmark stamped inside the shank, next to the "18". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes,
Sarah
