Gold Diamond Ring with c14a Stamped On It

I have recently bought a gold ring at a car-boot. It is very heavy with a big diamond. It has c14a stamped on it and that is all. I took it to a jewelers and they confirmed it's a diamond and it's gold, but I have no idea what the stamp means. Could you please help me
