Gold Ring 1805 or 1907?

by Jonathan
(England)

Dear Guru!

I recently bought this nice ring on eBay - the seller said it was date marked 1805 (Birmingham 'h') and was 12 ct gold. Well it isn't - it is marked 'W.N' '9' '.375' 'anchor' 'h' - I see Birmingham 'h' for 1907 is similar so what with the 9ct markings, would you say this was NOT 1805 but 1907?

Best wishes and many thanks.
