The horse's head hallmark depicted here is a French hallmark that was struck in gold jewelry or jewelry containing gold parts. It was used between 1838 and 1919.

The griffin - according to myth, the griffin was a creature with a lion's body attached to the head, wings, and claws of an eagle. A similar animal found represented 750/18k gold
