Hermano & Ancient Greek Mythology
by: Anonymous

Hi Mary thanks for writing in. This ring is charged with meaning! Any chance of a photo? "Hermano" by the way is "brother" in Spanish.

18K, is 750 parts per 1000 or 75% gold. Most quality pieces are 18K and it is the minimum gold standard for sale in Italy.

OK. Dude Hermano was a King in Greek Mythology, who had no children because he wasn't "inclined" towards women.

Apparently according to Ancient Greek Mythology - the Mandrake Plant was known to have fertility powers and according to legend was instrumental in Hermano producing a son.

The following excerpt is from the book " Gods, Goddesses & Mythology", Volume 1, by Scott Littleton and you can actually download it from the Jewelry Resources On Antique Jewelry Investor Here.
