Is it Palladium? What alloy does my hallmark stand for?

I found this ring, all research I've found on it says it is palladium. This ring is slightly magnetic. I put some face makeup on the back of my hand & rubbed this ring & 3 others that are 10k and 12k all leave a black mark. Do jewelers ever overlay palladium with gold?
