oh my, it is a very pretty ring you discovered and those stones look very clear and vibrant red in the images, but curious as to what makes you think the stones are spinel?
I have some Victorian jewelry with fiery red stones and although I don't have much knowledge about gemstones, I always thought the red stones in the jewelry were Garnets. I know the Victorians were nuts over garnets. I would Love to hear any opinions.
