London made sterling silver circular ingot pendant | R P maker's mark

by Kristy
(Sydney, Australia)

Hi,

I have a circular ingot pendant which I have gathered is made of sterling silver because of the Lion mark on it, and was made in London because of the Leopard mark on it, and was made in 1978 because of the cursive D date mark.

The thing I haven't worked out is the maker's mark. It has the letters R and P into two lozenge diamond like shapes. I just have no idea what this marking means and I'd be really interested to know.

Thanks.
