Other Jewelry | Lynn Bogue Hunt
by: Anonymous

Some other jewelry that is stated to be signed by Lynn Bogue Hunt and mentions his casts for the pieces is shown on the SportingSpirit.com website, here:
http://www.sportingspirit.com/index.html?startat=661&sid=&manuf=&category=&trig=all

There are some unsold pieces which indicate the prices paid - around $425. Don't know if it is authentic, but it is a guideline as to what people will pay.

Hope that helps!

State owned Art Gallery
by: Valerie

Since you have already researched this pair of earrings as much as possible, there is little I can add.

The family has stated that they have no knowledge of this product line and nor do I. I deal in fine costume jewellery. Since we can't find any proof that this artist actually put their name to or sanctioned this silver jewellery it is impossible to substantiate the connection.

I have checked with numerous Atellier or studio and gallery shops as well as museums. The only thing I can determine is that these may have been made for sale at a State owned Art Gallery in their gift shop.

I have no documentation however. If you are determined to sell them my advice would be to consider the price you paid for them. If the amount you have been offered seems fair to you, then sell them . We may never be able to find the answer, but based on other artists whose work has been copied for gallery items it makes the most sense.
