My mother & sister took the ring to the antiques roadshow, for the television show on PBS. Found out it's worth..heh..well lets just say it's worth enough that it is now kept in a safety deposit box at a bank! Apparently, the cut of the diamond is amazingly RARE, it dates back to the 1800's. The overall ring is said to be "a lost treasure among diamonds!!!! The show will air early next year 2011!!!!

a stunner! and how large again the diamond must look in real life and how much more beautiful under candlelight! Old cut diamonds have so much personality and hard to find at this large size. 5 stars for aunt selena's engagement ring! We are all green with envy! *wink* Thank you for your contribution.
