585 (parts per 1000) or 58.5% is 14K, or 14ct Gold, Asian for overseas market. Common in USA. In Russian it's 584.

Hi Sispone thanks for writing in. The mark, V in a circle matches with GEORGE L. VOSE MFG Co. (Manufacturing Jewelers & Silversmiths, Providence, RI, USA) - ca 1904 - 1920.

George L Vose was born in Rhode Island in about 1835.

George L Vose is in the List of Persons, Copartnerships and Corporations Assessed In The City Tax Ordered By The City Council of the City Of Providence, For The Year 1872. Providence: A Crawford Greene, Book and Job Printer, Railroad Halls.

George L Vose & Co manufacturing jewelers Providence, Rhode Island established 1872 is mentioned in Reports of Committees of the United States Senate 1893-94 Washington: Government Printing Office. 1895. (Available on google)

Vose (George L), Southwick (Andrew S), & Co manufacturing jewelers 25 Calender is listed in the 1875 and 1876 Providence Directories. The firm continues to be listed in the Providence Directories on Eddy street from 1877 until at least 1882. By 1884 Andrew S Southwick is in another partnership and the previous partnership is no longer listed.

George L Vose & Co manufacturing jeweler 185 Eddy is listed in the 1883 and 1884 Providence Directories. From 1885 to 1894 the firm is listed at 59 Clifford. In 1895 the adddress changes to 57 Clifford, in 1896 to 80 Dexter and in 1897 59 Clifford. George L Vose & Co is last found in the 1824-25 Providence Directory and still at their 59 Clifford address.
