Pearl Bow Brooch

by Drew
(Mouth of the Mississippi)

Hi y'all,
I recently saw the attached ladies pin in a re-sale store, and have been debating (now long distance) whether to purchase.

Ostensibly it came from an estate - but other than being marked 14k, there are no other identifying marks to indicate age or origin.

It's a small pin - roughly 2" x 3/4," with what looks like a domestic sapphire (the store claims it is a "Yogo" sapphire, but there's no substantiation). To my eye the pearls seemed to have the luster and shape typical to other natural Mississippi pearls I've seen, but I am far from an expert.

So...is there any value here?

Thanks!
