Natural Pearl Ring?
by: Anonymous

Hi Di - thank you for your question. As the title of your post is Pearl Ring, I think I'm safe in assuming the ring is set with a pearl in gold metal?

A crown in a rectangle followed by number 18 in a rectangle is the UK gold hallmark - on 18ct GOLD - that was used between 1798 - 1974. Could you up load a photo, of the marks in a follow-up submission? Please could you use the same title - "Pearl Ring" so that I know to assign the photo to this question.

Now, if the ring turns out to be made sometime in the late 1700- 1800's, the next question you should be asking, is if the pearl is a natural pearl?

best wishes,
Yvonne Hammouda-Eyre
