Ring marked "Garland"

I have a solitaire ring from my grandmother who recently passed away. They were not wealthy people, and she never wore it, so I am assuming it is a cubic zirconia, but it is huge, like 1.5 carats. The inside of the band is marked 14k and Garland. Is that a particular maker's mark, and if so who's. I would really like to know :).
