RP Before the Gold Hallmark on "old" Pendants

I bought some gold pendants online that were listed as hallmarked 9ct gold. When they arrived I noticed that each on had RP stamped in front of the stamped (hallmark)

have I bought plated junk? Very confusing because the hallmarks look genuine enough :-(
