Selling a Natural Pearl Necklace

by Lisa
(washington, DC)

Kari, I have a full strand of pre-1920 Tiffany matched, X-ray verified Natural Pearls, 18 inches in length and graduated from about 2 mm to 7 mm.

I bought the natural pearl strand as an investment from my jeweler back in 1990 (he is continually trying to buy them back from me, or trade them, but at the same price plus inflation!).

Times are tight and I am thinking about selling them - but they are so rare that I cannot find a market outlet where the buyers appreciate what it is they are purchasing. What would you recommend?

VR/ Lisa
