Hi again, there is no "&" anywhere. You see double b/c the tractor trailer had the mark on the left and right sides of its rear end. Yes, those are diamonds.

Might be Crane & Teurer
by: Anonymous

Emily it looks to me like Crane & Teurer (Manufacturing Jewelers, New York, NY, and Newark, NJ, USA) - ca 1895 - 1945 but without a close-up of the mark, I can't be sure.

Note: CRANE not Semi (lol)

Regards Yvonne

Thanks for your VERY original submission!
(I'm not sure why we are seeing double semis though).

TC Hallmark on Semi
by: Anonymous

Hi Emily - we couldn't stop laughing over here - that is a classic. Hallmarks on semi trailers. What next!

OK. What a beautiful brooch - are they diamonds? Abstract motifs and geometrical forms are quite typical for the Art Deco period while the fineness of line and lacey aspect of the piece are typical of the Edwardian style.

Can you tell me if there is an "&" anywhere on the mark overlapping the letter T?

best wishes
