Tortoise Lucite Earrings Made in Italy w/ Maker Mark

I recently purchased a beautiful pair of earrings. They are tortoise lucite and gold tone metal clip on. They are marked made in italy w/ a logo in the center. Wondering if anyone could tell me the maker. The mark looks like a lower case c w/ a curved line part way around the outside & a Solid half circle with two dots out of it (example cB).

If turned sideways the half circle with the dots look like eyes and the c a smile w/ the little curved line to the right side of the smile. Turned one way it could be a lower case cB turned the other Bc or yet again a Smiley Face. Sorry my pic uploader isn't working.
