Comment S & W could be a Pseudo-mark, these are jewelry marks resembling UK marks. Hard to tell without seeing the mark. S. & W. Sturtevant-Whiting Co. 244 Broad St. North Attleboro, Mass Liz

Comment the age of the ring will be determined by the SHAPE of the date letter and the SHAPE of the shield the letter is imprinted within. Could you upload a photo of the jewelry marks in a follow-up submission please.
