Can you describe the front of the ring? Is it a signet ring? Is there a stone in it? Any background information you think might help. It's what's in the horseshoe too that has to be considered. Looking at the photo, It doesn't look like a precious metal at all, in which case will eliminate it from being a hallmark. Jacki
