Value of a Tiffany Pearl Necklace

by Rita

My family heirloom Tiffany pearl necklace was stolen from my home and I am trying to figure out the value. It was roughly 24" long with graduated pearls from about .6 mm to about .3 mm (judging from my wedding photo when I wore the necklace).

There were at least 100 pearls on the strand and the clasp was silver in color but I don't know if it was sterling or platinum. I'm guessing they were purchased in the late 40's or early 50's.

I can't find out any more information because they were a gift from my dad who died almost 40 years ago to my Mom who now has dementia. I hate robbers! Any help is greatly appreciated.
