Value of cameo hand carved jewllery case

Hi

i just purchase a little trinket ( jewllery case ) which has "cameo hand carved" sticker inside and in small letter the word JAPAN stamped on underneath, i was woundering if you could tell me if there is any value to this item it looks gold but almost certain its gold plated.
