The arabic numeral for 18 looks like ١٨
However the mark on your ring the k marking kind of looks like the arabic number with the 8 ٨ turned 90 degrees anticlockwise.
Hope this helps.
I cant figure out what the other markung is but looks to me like 'uno' whatever that may mean.

It sounds like your acid test may be a bit sketchy. 14 and 18k make a big difference. Make sure you get a good scratch so as to get beneath any possible plating. If your acid is old, that will make a difference on the reading as well. Take it to a reputable local jeweler. They will check it for free in most cases, and even give you an estimated verbal diamond assessment.
