My ring has a stamp inside the band. It sais 10k and is followed by what looks like a backward z or a lightning bolt with some extra lines in the image that make it look somewhat scuffed. Any idea's on what it is?

Hi Lee thanks for writing in. I would check first to make sure the Z isn't an N letter. If under close inspection you feel it is a Z letter and not an N on its side, I would then suggest you read about the jewelry mark question another visitor submitted some time ago - it's about a ring with a Z in a square which turned out to be a a freemason's mark.
