Heizberg Diamond Store
by: Anonymous

I have a bracelet with the exact same marking. It is a Helzberg Diamonds Store marking that identifies the collection that the piece came from. The IK signifies a date of 2009-2010 copyright.

Also would like to know
by: Cassandra

I was gifted a ruby and diamond cluster 14K yellow gold ring with the IK marking. I believe the third character is a copywrite symbol, and it has nothing to do with platinum. My ring is definitely yellow gold. Still dont know what it stands for though and I would dearly love to know the maker..

IKO on Plat Ring
by: Anonymous

ّNot sure how long platinum has been in use in jewelry for but If the letters are IKO and platinum was being used in the late 19th century early 20th century - it might be:

ALOIS KOHN & Co. (mostly on Gold Chains, Manufacturing Jewelers, New York, NY, USA) - ca 1849 - 1914

PLATinum Diamond Band
by: Anonymous

Good morning

Mary thank you for writing in. Well done, we have a diamond platinum ring with an IK and circle mark on the inside band. What is the mark next to the two letters that looks like a circle?
Is this the plat mark inside the circle, or is plat mark on the outside of the band? The ring and setting look modern - also confirmed by metal platinum, which is a modern development as far as jewelry is concerned. IK was a popular initial among the spoon-makers and flatware makers of England!

The letter that looks like capital "i" can be confused with the letter J (antique silverware)
ie. IK = JOHN KERSCHNER (mostly Flatware, London, UK) - ca 1800 - 1820s
