Antique Rose Gold Ring

Looking for infomation on this ring, The mark inside is an X in a circle, I can't find anything on this mark, I was told it's Rose gold and size 7, on the band it's either 4 hearts or 4 cloves. It was hand down from my Gr Gr Grandmother who died in the early 30's. I was also told it may or may not be an Irish ring because her parents both was born in Ireland...Any Info would be helpful...
