Cameo Necklace | Jewelry Mark

I was given my great grandmother's cameo necklace. It is a pink (blush) colored cameo set onto a yellow gold pronged base. The back of the gold base is stamped jf pierced by an arrow. The arrow runs along the top of the J and through the center piece of the letter f. Any idea of who made the piece or the age? My great grandmother passed away before I was born and no one seems to know the history of this cameo necklace.
