The Head in Profile Could Be A Duty Mark
by: Anonymous

Hi Chica!

the Ladies Head & Shoulders in profile, could be the DUTY MARK, of Queen Victoria - ca 1838 - 1890. Hibernia (ca 1732 - Present) is the Ireland, DUBLIN Town Mark, seated and in profile, in a position similar to what you see in the Ancient Egyptian drawings of Egyptian royalty.

The initials, WM is the maker, and there are a few companies that used these initials, an image is required to determine the mark. I cannot see the hallmarks in this ring even when i zoom in on maximum - sorry.

Crown and 18 is the UK gold purity mark on 18 carat gold, ca 1798 - 1974.

The letter P will be the date letter.

Best Wishes,
Yvonne
