"I have a pen which is over 35 to 40 years old plus the paperwork for it says it's 14kt Italian gold but it has a 925 circled and a funny square next to it with 570 stamped in the middle. The pen is from Italy and it is an aurora. why is there 2 different markings and is it 14kt Please help thanks"
Possibly because two different metals were used in its manufacture. 14kt gold and 925 silver.
