Is this German?

This is a hinged box that is meant for a necklace. I have no idea what it is for and where it is made or the time period. It looks like a crescent and crown but it is after the 800 not before.

The first set of marks look like a g g or c c the next is 800 then a crescent and a crown but the crown is not clear and almost resembles a flower basket,

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
