I also have a ring with what looks like some animal/Blob really in between opposing arrow heads, It is gold and opal what does your ring consist of?

I don't know about gold but I do know the country mark for HUNGARY on SILVER (ca. 1965 - present)
is two opposing arrows with the letter M in between.
