value of grandmothers pearl necklace

I inherited my grandmother's pearl necklace twenty plus years ago. I have no idea of the value, pretty sure they come from the 40's. They are a graduated strand of 87 with the center at .7mm all the way down to .2mm. Can you give me an estimate of their value?
