Not 24K Gold Baby Bracelet, Traditionally 22K or 24K plated by: Yvonne
Maharba,
Thanks for reaching out Gemma, I am so glad you found us!
Your baby bracelet is almost certainly not 24K gold. Pure 24K gold which is 99.9% purity is way too soft to make a durable bracelet. It would bend, scratch, and break easily—especially on an action packed baby bracelet. Because baby jewelry must be extremely durable, pure 24K gold is rarely ever used in Scandinavian or Western Jewelry.
Interesting to note in connection with Baby Jewelry, the letters VTT is a popular contemporary Indian handcrafted gold jewelry brand (often making 22K / 916 jewelry). Because Indian baby traditions place a strong emphasis on pure gold, the bracelet might be traditional 22K (91.6% pure) or 24K gold plated, rather than Scandinavian.
