Cuff Bracelet -What do these numbers and letters signify 1 2 9 V I ?

I have a cuff bracelet that is stumping me. On either side of the opening it has the same symbols. One of them is 750, which is stamped inside of a lozenge. I know that stands for 18k. The other one has me stumped. The mark is a lozenge but the left and right sides are squared, rather than pointy. Inside it is stamped 129 V I. I would like to know what it stands for. The letter after the V, is just a plain vertical line (like in the word Hallmark). My grandfather was a jeweler in Brazil and many of the items he purchased for his business came from Italy. This bracelet was given to my mom in the late 1950s. I don't know if this is relevant but the bracelet is made up of two equal 18k halves that are almost a complete letter C. They are linked by a stunning gold lozenge that has 4 white gold or platinum leaves and a 4 carat cabochon emerald in the center. The middle of the lozenge does not connect to either side of the bracelet so it makes the bracelet look very geometric. Basically, the emerald is in the center of the bracelet, the middle of the lozenge is not attached to the bracelet on either side, so it creates a really interesting geometric shape. I would say that the emerald is about 4 carats.
