Diagonals or X's in a box jewelry marks

Hi, I recently purchased at an estate sale a white gold ring with diamonds and saphires. Seems like an art deco ring. 4 diamond shaped saphires form a larger diamond shape in the center.

Can you please provide all background information?


What are the markings? It is marked on the inside with some diagonal lines inside a arrow/box, crisscrossing. (Attached is the picture that I drew of the shape) Right next to it is marked "14K". On the other side of the inside, has a series of 8 numbers/digits: 00408025 (could be "8" or "S")

Where are the markings? Both markings are in the inside.
