Ring of Petals with Face in the Center Hallmark by: Yvonne
Maharba, Thanks for reaching out, so glad you found us! What a lovely bangle! That "flower-face" mark is a classic Italian gold assay mark used from the 1930s-1980s.
The ring of petals with a woman's face in the center was Italy's way of marking gold. If you look very closely near that mark, you should find a tiny number: - 585 = 14k - 750 = 18k
Italian jewelry often only had this one mark + sometimes a maker’s mark. The fact that it didn’t stick to a magnet is another good sign.
Your acid test will confirm the karat, but based on the mark and style, this is very likely authentic Italian gold. A lovely piece!
