anchor is for Birmingham, England and "B" is for 1891. this is on the cigar holder with 9ct .375 gold mount.

Hi Dan

the mark next to the B - are you able to read it your end? I can't see much from here, despite my efforts of zooming in as close as I possibly can.

It looks to me like this item might be from the US as I can't see a town mark unless it's the one next to the B that we can't read.

A maker's mark that looks very similar to the B Hallmark is:

B W.J. BRAITSCH & Co. (mostly on Rolled Gold Plate, Manufacturing Silversmiths & Jewelers, Providence, RI, USA) - ca 1892 - 1918
